Our college library has played an important role since its inception. It has a wide range of informational resources including books, journals, periodicals, CD ROM s, back volume of journals.
The library also offers access to 12 periodicals in both English and Malayalam, along with 7 educational journals, including e-journals, ensuring that the learning and teaching community has access to the most current resources. The collection of over 6,000 books is continually updated to support academic growth.
Library is designed to accommodate more than 60 students and ensuring a quiet and undisturbed environment for study. The library stocks book alligned with the B.Ed syllabus as well as a diverse collection for general reading available in both English and Malayalam.
The college library offers computer stations with Internet access, allowing students and staff to browse conveniently.
Library Rules
1. Library working hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on all working days.
2. Students should keep their personal belongings at the space provided near the entrance of the library.
3. Silence should be strictly observed in the library.
4 Books may be borrowed for 1 week. A fine of Re 1 per day will be levied after the due date.
5. A student is permitted to take 2 books at a time.
6. Before leaving the counter they must satisfy whether the book is in sound condition otherwise the person shall be responsible for replacement of the book if any damage is found later.
7. Any transfer or sub-lending of book taken from the library is prohibited.
8. Overnight issue of the reference books is available with the special permission of the librarian.
9. Library reserves the right to recall any issued book even before the due date.
10. Members shall replace books lost or pay the estimated cost for them as per rules from time to time.
11. All library dues should be cleared before the last working day of the academic year.
12. Members are responsible for the books issued against their names.
Library Advisory Committee
There is a Library Advisory Committee for monitoring library activities, purchase of books, periodicals etc.
Library Advisory Committee consists of :
1) Principal (chairman)
2) Librarian (secretary)
3) 3 teaching faculty members
4) 1 student representative.
